A LITTLE BIT ABOUT BILL
Bill admits he isn't really a linedancer although he did take lessons many years back at the Appollo Dance Club in Moreton run by Debbie - he says she was very patient and he actually thoroughly enjoyed it and came away with a knowledge of a few dances. In latter years we used to go partner dancing out at Anglesey with Kay and Alistair Longman - the original Alikats from Tree Tops (Gerry Marsden's club) in Benllech - Kay taught us some lovely partner dances and also line dances, but unfortunately they retired from their classes, so that was that. We also spent many weekends attending Mike Parkinson's classes (M & M's linedancing) & attend Socials and Festivals at the Wylfa Sports and Social Club. Bill has always been and always will be a true advocate of supporting local country music and line dance clubs and tries on most Thursdays to get to Leasowe Castle Country music club, which he thoroughly enjoys. Bill has done 'lots' of things over the years, mainly voluntarily. He is currently The Chairman of the Bronze Sports and Social Club, also Chairman of the Wallasey Junior Football League, being a past Junior team manager to now Chairman and also a member of both Wirral and Cheshire FA. He has had experience with all aspects of life and his knowledge is vast. Over the last few years Bill's health has not been as it should, due to a medical error, but thankfully he is now better than he has been for many years, although still has to undergo further surgery in the future. He has always endeavoured to do his best in whatever has been asked of him and that's what makes him what he is today.. If you need help, he's always the first to offer. Some people don't give Bill the respect he deserves, they're the ones that don't make the effort to get to know him properly.!!!!!!
