What a great night we all had with Lainey West, who we had seen before and Mike Wallace, a newcomer to the Bronze Stage and relatively new to the Country circuit.
As always we had a full house with both dancers and listeners. Lainey started the night off in her usual friendly style and soon has the floor full with her great choice of line dance songs. Next on stage was Mike, looking very smart and what a lovely voice he had. Mike sung many of the old classics and I must admit it gave us some food for thought to try and remember the dances. Mike also did some lovely dances which enabled the partner dancers to 'have a go'
As normal we had a great raffle with plenty of prizes going to different corners of the room.
Our second half went down equally as well as the first with both artists donning different outfits. Their stage presentation, voices and selection of songs, was excellent. To finish the night off Lainey and Mike did a duet, which really was quite appropriate as they have now formed a duo called Texas Rising. Can't wait to have them back.
Thanks must go to Bill, for manning the car park, Chris for his assistance on the door and of course to everyone who turned up for what turned out to be a great show.
Next Social is Tuesday l6th December when we have Paul Bailey. Tickets are already on sale and going fast, so please don't be dissapointed. Entrance is by ticket only as it is our Christmas Special.
