Well what a fabulous show, these two artists put on for us. First on stage was Emma Moore, first time visit to the Bronze Club, but hopefully we'll see alot more of Emma. What an amazingly powerful voice which Emma showed off with the many songs she belted out. The only criticism I have is that I wish she'd done more songs which we could line dance to. Nevertheless it's refreshing to be able to sit and listen.
Following Emma on stage was the young Jake Carter... one of my first questions on greeting him was....is it Jake or Jacob....either will do was the answer. I think I can honestly say what a thoroughly pleasant, polite and professional young man he is. He has a real charm about him and pleasing on the eye, obviously going to be taking after his brother Nathan. Jake did two absolutely fabulous spots and although he doesn't announce what dance can be done to his music, the floor was full the whole night.
As usual we had an exceptionally large raffle with prizes being spread about the room...well done to everyone who won, and commiseration to those who didn't...especially our visitors from Anglesley.
All in all it was a great evening, great artists and a brilliant atmosphere..as always.
Next show is Tuesday 20th June, when we have Nancy Hays from American supported by our very own Paul Taylor....very few tickets left.
